XR3 Hybrid

Designed by Robert Q. Riley this project is a super-lightweight, high-performance diesel-electric hybrid.
The XR3 Hybrid is a three-wheeled Personal Mobility Vehicle (PMV) that will supposedly achieve 1.88 L/100KM diesel powered alone and 1.05 L/100KM on combined diesel and electric power. Top speed 137 km/h (85 mph)
It will be made from carbon-fiber, and when plans are completed, they'll be published so that adventurous DIYers can try it for themselves. (Scheduled for Release in June 2007)
